Chiru is a self-taught painter working in acrylic, oil and mixed media, drawn to portraits and figures that sit somewhere between the real and the imagined — florals worn as crowns, animals dressed in ceremony, faces half-hidden by cloud and colour.

Each painting begins on the easel and is finished by hand, with no two pieces ever repeated. New work is shared here as soon as the paint dries — usually every week or two.
